Sixteenth National Summit on Healthcare Marketing Strategies
We are going through difficult times as healthcare marketers, and it was comforting to be among peers. Share advice, passion and time together.
David Meerman Scott was the keynote speaker and spoke to “Real Time Marketing” and really nailed it. Check out his book. It would be a good read. As I headed into the conference, I was particularly interested in attending sessions focused on strategies and tactics targeting women. I’d like to commend Dan Dunlop, President & CEO, Jennings, for a great presentation on “Engaging the Mommy Audience: Hospital Mommy Blogs.” I’ve seen Dan before, and he’s a great speaker. I also really appreciated the insight during “Grow Women’s Health for Powerful Success” from Merri Alessi, Director of Marketing, Woman’s Hospital, and Gabrielle DeTora, Strategic Marketing Consultant. I always find that attending this conference provides a few moments to breathe, think new thoughts, ask “what if”, re-energize and make new friendships and relationships.
